As the barrier of entry for stock trading is lowered, you'll see a host of interesting traders entering the trade and investment scene. As a comic relief from these uncertain times, we grouped some traders to noticeable archetypes. Which one do you think you belong to?
The Blind Trader
Blind traders are made up of 100% confidence and 0% strategy. As such, they often have deep losses and get wiped out pretty quickly. They tend to buy high and sell low, and get caught up in the emotional side of trading. These traders comprise majority of the retail trading community.

The Eager Learner
Eager learners are traders with an insatiable thirst for learning. They leave no book unread. No seminar unattended. No podcast unplayed. There is simply no learning content that is safe! All will be consumed. But the question is, will the learning translate to results? Well, that remains to be seen.
The Bottom Fisher
Every trading style thrives on a particular market cycle. When panic ensues and the markets come crashing down, it is the bottom fisher that is happily waiting to buy at discounted prices. They thrive specifically on bearish conditions. When blood flows through the river, you can expect the Bottom Fishers to make their move.

The Value Investor
There are those who simply can't tolerate the gut wrenching stress of active trading. As such, Value Investors err to the side of long term investments. They reap the benefit of stress free investing by picking fundamentally robust stocks for medium to long term holding. They love to count the years before harvesting their picks at full bloom.
The Hypebeast
Among the ranks of traders, there will rise a few who will lead the clueless herd to the edge of the cliff. Their weapon? Flowery words and confusing indicators! They will hype you. They will get you excited. They will say all the words you want to hear. Then, they will lull you to buy their books and five digit half day seminars so you can fail and attend again and again! RAWR!
Nostradamus
Profitable traders usually let the market show them the way, but from time to time, we will witness fortune tellers who try to predict where prices will go next. They go by the name Nostradamus. They are the fortunate few who claim to see through the crystal ball. Just be warned, when the market goes against them, they disappear to thin air, never to be found again. Just like your capital.
The Robot
Beyond the noise of social media forums sits the silent Robot. It is a well-oiled machine that executes trades without the fog of emotion. It listens only to the chart. Everything else is just a means of validation. The way of the Robot is boring. But the profit is consistent and sustainable. The trade plan is followed to the very last detail. All key levels are respected. The cutloss is executed without mercy. To the Robot, money is only a means to keep score.
